About The Position

As a Journeyman Electrician with Crusoe’s Manufacturing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliable operation of our electrical systems. Your expertise will be crucial for installing, repairing, and maintaining these systems, directly impacting the efficiency and safety of our manufacturing processes. You will utilize your skills to interpret blueprints, troubleshoot electrical issues, and implement effective solutions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and work with cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate is a skilled and dedicated electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

  • Formal electrician training in a Journeyman schooling program.
  • Valid Colorado Journeyman Electrician License: An active and clean Journeyman License.
  • Proficiency in using a wide variety of electrician tools and techniques.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints accurately.
  • Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn from feedback.
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks associated with the role, such as standing, walking, stooping, and bending for extended periods.
  • Detail-oriented, a team player with a strong sense of self accountability and possess a good attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to undergo a background and drug test.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid OSHA 10 certification
  • Knowledge of specific electrical codes and regulations.
  • Experience with PLC programming or automation systems.
  • Additional certifications related to electrical work.
  • Familiarity with various types of electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Performing electrical installations of equipment in manufactured buildings, adhering to plans and specifications.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical problems, utilizing your knowledge and experience to implement effective solutions.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure their continued reliability and prevent future issues.
  • Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, blueprints, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to guide your work.
  • Using a variety of electrician tools and techniques to complete installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Adhering to all safety requirements and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to standardize practices and methods to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Working effectively with team members to ensure seamless project execution and knowledge sharing.
