Journeyman Electrician

Hourly Rate: $30.00-$35.00

Requirements

• Four years of Electrical schooling or Journeyman's License
• Minimum 7 years of commercial electrical experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and testing equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights or in confined spaces
• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, wiring, fixtures, and other electrical components in accordance with the National Electrical Code
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
• Test electrical systems and components for safety and efficiency using appropriate tools and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Performs troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times
