About The Position
BHI is seeking two motivated and skilled Journeyman Electricians for its Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) division, specifically for the Riverton Medical Hospital project. This is a full-time opportunity based in Riverton, WY, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems. The role involves performing high-level electrical installations according to engineered specifications and NEC 2023 requirements. The Journeyman Electrician will report directly to the Crew Foreman and is expected to guide and direct apprentices throughout projects, ensuring a safe, efficient, and professional work environment. Requirements
- Hold a current Electrical Journeyman License for the state of work
- Have at least four (4) years of electrical experience in a construction environment, specifically with commercial and industrial projects
- Be able to read and navigate through blueprints in both digital and paper formats
- Use appropriate testing equipment to complete jobs according to relevant codes
- Perform essential physical functions, including climbing, balancing, stooping, and kneeling for sustained periods
- Expect moderate to heavy travel
- Provide your own hand tools per the BHI tool list
- Possess a valid driver's license
