About The Position

Join our Field Operations team and help keep communities safe by installing, maintaining, and supporting camera, solar, and electrical infrastructure throughout Washington State. Due to Washington State electrical licensing requirements, this is a hybrid field role requiring both hands-on technical deployment experience and an active Washington State Journeyman Electrician license. This position primarily focuses on field installations and maintenance while leveraging electrical licensing to support compliant electrical scope work across a wide variety of customer environments and infrastructure types.

Requirements

  • Active Washington State Journeyman Electrician license required
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools, lifts, and field equipment
  • Ability to work independently across varying job types and customer environments
  • Comfortable driving company vans or bucket trucks
  • Basic computer and mobile application skills with willingness to learn new technologies

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in electrical, low-voltage, construction, telecommunications, or similar field deployment environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and service poles, solar panels, batteries, and camera systems across diverse customer sites
  • Perform electrical scope work in accordance with Washington State and local electrical code requirements
  • Install and align LPR cameras, PTZ systems, solar equipment, and external battery systems
  • Perform both installations and maintenance activities (approximately 50/50 split)
  • Work on public and private roadways, customer facilities, and varying outdoor environments
  • Safely use ladders, lifts, and bucket trucks while working at heights up to 30 feet
  • Use hand and power tools; assist with conduit, low-voltage wiring, electrical tie-ins, and troubleshooting
  • Meet with customers onsite to conduct surveys and discuss installation options
  • Interpret traffic control plans, site drawings, and permit documentation
  • Track inventory, receive shipments, and submit installation documentation/photos through internal field applications
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant work environment at all times
  • Adapt to dynamic schedules and changing deployment priorities, often with short notice
