About The Position
Skillforce is currently hiring Journeyman Electricians for a long-term commercial project in Iowa City, IA. This project involves wiring, running, and bending EMT conduit. The ideal candidate is experienced in commercial electrical work, efficient, and able to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Prior commercial electrical experience
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Responsibilities
- Perform lighting fixture install
- Basic wiring, run & bend EMT conduit
- Ensure all work complies with local and state electrical codes
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members
