About The Position

T2 has partnered with a well-established and busy electrical contractor for a project in the Tucson area. If you have at least 4 years of commercial construction experience, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial construction electrical experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and maintain professionalism on-site.
  • Safety-minded with a strong understanding of job site safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and supervise job site activities including management of equipment and materials, temporary power sources, project documents, and employee timekeeping.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and wiring schematics.
  • Coordinate with GC superintendent and subcontractors on job sites.
  • Manage relationships with project engineers and local municipalities to ensure compliance with drawings, schedules, and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot issues with systems and equipment.
  • Supervise completion of project layout.
  • Communicate consistently with GC superintendent and project managers regarding manpower, scheduling, and job site performance.
  • Manage and monitor safety program requirements and documentation.
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit as needed.
  • Trace out short circuits and complete other diagnostic tasks.
  • Install and repair electrical systems while maintaining compliance with electrical codes.
  • Complete wiring of control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, receptacles, switches, and related systems.
  • Perform quality control and verification of completed installations.
  • Lift, position, and secure materials as defined in project scope.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.
