About The Position
ANCO is looking for dedicated Electricians seeking a fulfilling career working on a variety of commercial and utility projects. ANCO offers mentorship, career progression, great pay, and benefits. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and systems on-site. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience and is licensed to perform unsupervised work that is expected to meet NEC compliance.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Licensed to perform unsupervised work.
- Expected to meet NEC compliance.
- High mechanical aptitude, good with hands, organized, and analytical.
- Endure prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Possess physical strength to pull wires and cables through conduits.
- Frequently lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable with heights.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the work of an Apprentice Electrician in various tasks.
- Read blueprints and possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Use hand tools, power tools, test meters, and diagnostic equipment.
- Exhibit excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
