Requirements

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License.
  • Must have tools of the trade.
  • Experience with standby/battery systems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify electrical parts & components.
  • Utilize a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and the electrical industry.
  • Possess a basic knowledge, and safe use, of tools and equipment.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that complies with Energy 1 driving standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular duties, such as: bending, cutting, pulling & installing conduit & wire, troubleshooting, testing, trimming outlets, mounting equipment, and maintaining/servicing as needed for new and existing clients.
  • Ensure systems meet company standards and are installed per all electrical and local building codes.
  • Oversee and assist with the training of apprentices
  • Regular use of hand and power tools appropriate for the job.
  • Handle a variety of materials required for the job, including loading/unloading/moving.
  • Adhere to safety procedures, policies, guidelines, and precautions while ensuring the job site remains tidy and free of safety hazards.
  • Read and understand basic blueprints.
  • Adapt to various types of construction/job site conditions.
  • Perform any other project-related tasks that arise on a daily basis.
