Requirements

Valid Journeyman Electrician License.
Must have tools of the trade.
Experience with standby/battery systems.
Demonstrate the ability to identify electrical parts & components.
Utilize a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and the electrical industry.
Possess a basic knowledge, and safe use, of tools and equipment.
Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that complies with Energy 1 driving standards.

Responsibilities

Perform regular duties, such as: bending, cutting, pulling & installing conduit & wire, troubleshooting, testing, trimming outlets, mounting equipment, and maintaining/servicing as needed for new and existing clients.
Ensure systems meet company standards and are installed per all electrical and local building codes.
Oversee and assist with the training of apprentices
Regular use of hand and power tools appropriate for the job.
Handle a variety of materials required for the job, including loading/unloading/moving.
Adhere to safety procedures, policies, guidelines, and precautions while ensuring the job site remains tidy and free of safety hazards.
Read and understand basic blueprints.
Adapt to various types of construction/job site conditions.
Perform any other project-related tasks that arise on a daily basis.
