About The Position

Lawton Group - Lawton Commercial Services is a leading full service commercial contractor specializing in electrical and plumbing systems. We provide high quality service work across a variety of commercial projects. With a reputation for safety, integrity, and skilled craftsmanship we are looking for experienced Commercial Journeyman Electricians licensed in Texas to join our team! We are currently seeking a Texas-licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. Applicants must hold an active Texas Journeyman Electrician license to be considered for this position. The ideal candidate has a solid work ethic and work history, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to completing work safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License
• 3+ years of hands on experience in commercial electrical work
• Valid Texas Driver License with a clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment Background Check and Drug Test

• Responsible for professional customer interactions, discovering new sales opportunities and upselling efforts through collaboration with sales personnel, call center personnel and management.
• Manage personally assigned vehicle inventory, maintenance and reports.
• Work closely with the Division and Operations Managers and field supervisors to promote outstanding customer service, safety compliance and job assignments on-time and within budget.
• Provide customers with solutions to all their electrical needs.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial construction and retrofit projects
• Interpret blueprints, construction documents and technical diagrams
• Perform conduit bending (EMT, PVC, RMC), wire pulling, switchgear installations, lighting systems and controls
• Installation of various electrical devices
• Troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently and safely
• Ensure compliance with NEC, Texas codes and jobsite safety standards
• Plan and install electrical systems in accordance with job specifications and local codes
• Connect and test wiring, circuit breakers, transformers and related components
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate tools and testing equipment
• Inspect systems fore safety, code compliance and performance; make necessary adjustments and repairs
• Additional Duties as assigned
