About The Position

Panhandle Power Solutions is expanding its construction management staff and requires the addition of 3 experienced Journeyman Electricians. Candidate MUST have an active Journeyman's License and NCSBC CERTIFICATION for MV Splicing. The location will be for an ongoing project at Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado. This individual must be willing to travel once this project is completed and have the ability to pass a Federal DoD background screening.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE ELECTRICAL JOURNEYMAN LICENSE TO BE CONSIDERED
• MUST HAVE: NCSBC CERTIFICATION for MV Splicing
• The candidate must be familiar with industry standards and practices.
• The candidate should have advanced experience working as an electrician.
• Buckley SFB - Candidates must be a Natural Born U.S. Citizen for security clearance.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• U.S. Resident
• Ability to conduct work outside of Electrician scope.
• MV Splicing: 3 years (Required)
• NCSCB (Required)
• Journeyman's License (Required)
• Willingness to travel: 75% (Required)

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Plan and perform layout.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
• Good knowledge of various test equipment.
