About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a journeyman electrician and be capable of performing electrical work in a commercial and industrial setting. Any experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) would be a plus.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience as a journeyman electrician.
Proficient at bending and installing EMT conduit 1” and below.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve both electrical and control system issues.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with apprentices, BAS technicians, and other team members.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with Building Automation Systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in compliance with local codes, company standards, and safety regulations.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals related to BAS and electrical systems.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports, wiring diagrams, and BAS system updates.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Work on Building Automation Systems including, but not limited to:
Connecting and programming controllers, sensors, and actuators.
Wiring and commissioning HVAC control devices.
Assisting with BAS software interface, system diagnostics, and trend analysis.
Collaborating with BAS technicians to implement automation solutions
