About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a journeyman electrician and be capable of performing electrical work in a commercial and industrial setting. Any experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) would be a plus.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a journeyman electrician.
  • Proficient at bending and installing EMT conduit 1” and below.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve both electrical and control system issues.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with apprentices, BAS technicians, and other team members.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with Building Automation Systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in compliance with local codes, company standards, and safety regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals related to BAS and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports, wiring diagrams, and BAS system updates.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Work on Building Automation Systems including, but not limited to:
  • Connecting and programming controllers, sensors, and actuators.
  • Wiring and commissioning HVAC control devices.
  • Assisting with BAS software interface, system diagnostics, and trend analysis.
  • Collaborating with BAS technicians to implement automation solutions
