About The Position
East Coast Construction Services (ECCS) is a rapidly growing industrial electrical contractor specializing in complex electrical, instrumentation, and automation projects across the Southeast. Our work supports pharmaceutical, water treatment, biofuel, food manufacturing, and industrial facilities, with projects ranging from $500K to $20M. We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician to lead small crews and make an impact on major industrial projects, working with advanced systems including PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, switchgear, and instrumentation. Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Experience leading crews in an industrial environment
- Experience working on medium voltage projects
- Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial power systems
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Employment with our company is contingent upon successful completion of both a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor crews of apprentices and helpers
- Install, troubleshoot, and commission industrial electrical and control systems
- Read blueprints, schematics, and control drawings
- Ensure safe, high-quality, code-compliant work
- Support project success through leadership, technical expertise, and teamwork
