About The Position

Installs drywall systems to create smooth, durable surfaces that meet project quality and design standards. Applies technical knowledge to perform framing and accurately fit, securely attach, and consistently finish gypsum panels. Collaborates with team members and supervisors to coordinate installation activities and resolve routine challenges. Supports project efficiency by maintaining productivity, safety, and attention to detail throughout drywall work, while contributing to a positive, solutions-oriented team environment and adapting to evolving site requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in drywall, or 2–4 years of experience in drywall installation, finishing, or a related field.
Complete OSHA 10 training within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification.

Responsibilities

Install metal stud framing and drywall panels, including measuring, cutting, and securely attaching panels to framing.
Inspect completed work for smoothness, alignment, and compliance with project specifications, and address deficiencies as needed.
Coordinate with other trades and team members to support efficient workflow and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Maintain accurate records of materials used and work progress for reporting and inventory purposes.
Identify and communicate installation or finishing challenges to leadership for resolution.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout drywall installation and finishing.
