Executes standard and moderately complex Division 7 field tasks to support high-quality installation of waterproofing, insulation, firestopping and building envelope systems. Applies working technical knowledge to perform assigned activities independently, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with project specifications. Collaborates with other crew members and trade partners to coordinate material use, work sequencing, and cleanup while maintaining a safe and organized site. Adapts installation techniques to meet project conditions and contributes to team discussions to resolve moderately complex technical challenges.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Division 7 construction, waterproofing, insulation, firestopping or a related field required.
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification preferred.
  • OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

  • Installs Division 7 systems, including waterproofing, insulation, firestopping and related envelope components, in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
  • Interprets work plans and executes moderately complex tasks independently, ensuring work quality and alignment with Division 7 standards.
  • Coordinates daily work activities with other team members to ensure efficiency and clear work sequencing.
  • Monitors equipment and materials for proper condition and safe operation, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Adjusts installation methods and material applications when encountering irregularities or unforeseen site conditions.
  • Maintains clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas while ensuring compliance with safety policies and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Provides informal guidance and support to less experienced workers to promote learning and reinforce correct Division 7 installation practices.
