Job Summary:
Applies fully functioning finishing techniques to concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality, durable, and visually appealing results. Executes standard and non-standard concrete finishing tasks such as screeding, floating, troweling, edging, and jointing independently. Collaborates with site leadership to sequence pours and maintains strict safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 2–4 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field required.
• OSHA 10 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Nice To Haves

• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies finishing techniques to freshly placed concrete by smoothing, texturing, edging, and curing surfaces for slabs and structural elements.
• Performs tasks including screeding, floating, troweling, edging, jointing, and texturing to achieve specified flatness, durability, and appearance.
• Follows established safety and quality guidelines during all phases of concrete finishing work.
• Inspects finished surfaces for defects, making necessary corrections to meet standards.
• Assists in preparing work areas, setting forms, and cleaning up after finishing operations.
• Works collaboratively with crew leads and foremen to sequence work and maintain schedule adherence.
• Maintains tools, materials, and equipment in clean, safe, and operational condition.
