About The Position
Skillforce is currently hiring skilled Commercial Journeyman Carpenters for work in Murfreesboro, TN. Candidates should have experience with commercial construction, installation, and finish work. The right candidate will bring strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work as part of a team! Carpenters will be working 40 hours a week with some overtime possible, pay is $39.98/hr.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial carpentry including framing, formwork, rough-in, and/or finish work
- Install doors, hardware, casework, and trim as required
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure all work meets project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with other trades and project supervisors to meet deadlines
