Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the Selinsgrove, PA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $26-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Experienced Journeyman Carpenters
Responsibilities
- Construct the skeleton of a building, including floors (joists), walls (studs), and complex roof systems (rafters and trusses)
- Interpret advanced architectural drawings, site coordinates, and building specifications to ensure accurate layout and execution
- Use advanced tools like laser levels, transits, and total stations to establish building lines, verify trueness (plumb and level), and set coordinates
- Construct and install complex forms for concrete foundations, walls, columns, and elevated parking decks
- Design and build freestanding, circular, or winding stairs while adhering to strict safety codes for rise and run
- High-precision installation of crown molding, baseboards, door/window casings, and custom cabinetry
