About The Position

Pape’ Kenworth, a premier medium and heavy-duty truck and equipment dealer, is seeking a Journeyman Level Body Shop Technician to join their team. This role involves performing body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6-8 trucks, including pre/post repair washes, bodywork, parts replacement, and installations on new trucks. The technician will be expected to handle challenging jobs and work collaboratively in a supportive body shop environment. The position is Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3:30 pm.

Requirements

5 or more years of experience performing repairs on all makes and models of diesel trucks.
Self-motivation.
Ability to work under little or no supervision.
Driver’s license with a good driving record.
Must have own tools.

Nice To Haves

A CDL is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6-8 trucks.
Perform pre/post repair washes.
Conduct bodywork.
Replace parts.
Perform installs on new trucks.
Complete other minor repairs as assigned.
Handle tough jobs as a journeyman technician.
