About The Position
Modern Auto Company is seeking an I-CAR Certified Auto Body / Collision Repair Technician to join our collision center team. If you take pride in quality repairs, precise workmanship, and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition, we’d love to have you on board at our busy GM dealership collision facility.
Requirements
- I-CAR certification required
- Proven collision repair experience
- Knowledge of modern repair procedures and safety standards
- Ability to read estimates and repair plans
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Team-oriented with strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs
- Repair and replace damaged body panels, frames, and components
- Perform metal finishing, panel alignment, and fit/finish work
- Follow OEM and I-CAR repair procedures
- Use frame machines, measuring systems, and shop equipment safely
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed for repairs
- Maintain repair quality and cycle time standards
- Communicate with estimators and team members throughout repairs
