About The Position

Aleut Federal is seeking a Joint Warfighting Instructor/Curriculum Developer to support the 533d Training Squadron’s USSF Guardian Enlisted Training (GET) initiative at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. Work is slated to start on 1 January 2027 (contingent upon contract award). The USSF is refining roles for its personnel to better prepare for dominating in the space-domain. Enlisted Guardians will serve as technical specialists, leaders, weapon system experts, and advisors in satellite operations, cyberspace operations, and intelligence operations. The GET initiative is transforming initial skills training to meet this vision, focusing on developing the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the enlisted force.

Requirements

  • Skilled communicator, experienced in providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience.
  • Experience developing curriculum using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) standards.
  • Prior completion of AETC Basic Instructor Course (BIC) or other service equivalent, accepted by CCAF or ability to obtain a CCAF accredited BIC certification within 3 months after employment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Active or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3 years of experience in ISD-based curriculum/lesson development.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the specific mission area of this position with a US Government agency.
  • Experience in joint planning and operations required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a formal instructor or 5 years as a briefer/public speaking.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in US Air Force, US Army, or US Navy preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and instruct curriculum on joint doctrine, joint planning, multi-domain integration, and operational-level warfighting.
  • Assess and mentor students.
  • Support integrated events, guest instruction, and multi-course instruction.
  • Support mission integration and Graduation Exercise (GRADEX) activities.
  • Participate in curriculum reviews, agile course development and maintenance efforts.
  • Maintain LMS records and student documentation.
  • Participate in faculty development and continuous improvement activities.
  • Coordinate activities with Contract PM and government supervisory personnel.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
