About The Position

HF Sinclair is seeking a Joint Venture Relationship Manager as the primary liaison for Joint Venture (JV) partners and internal stakeholders while overseeing JV marketing initiatives, owning new business ventures, managing financial performance including P&L responsibility, coordinating governance activities such as board meetings and reporting, and driving strategic planning within the JV structure.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Downstream Marketing is required or equivalent years of experience
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a management related field is required.
  • Self-starter with drive and ability to achieve planned objectives.
  • Excellent follow through skills.
  • Good creative, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to create mutual respect with peers and a positive work environment.
  • Ability to perform a variety of assignments related to the daily operation of HFS marketing voint ventures.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, works well in team problem solving situations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for JV partners addressing inquiries and requests.
  • Support budget planning and strategic business development initiatives.
  • Lead marketing efforts for JV-related projects and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Respond to management, accounting, and tax-related inquiries regarding JV activities.
  • Organize and prepare materials for JV board meetings, including decks and reports.
  • Monitor monthly and quarterly financial performance.
  • Develop internal reports for financial monitoring and projections.
  • Serve as the liaison for accounting and tax during close processes.
  • Track cash levels and manage distributions.
  • Attend industry events and training sessions to stay informed on market trends and macro factors.
  • Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.
