About The Position

Under direction of more senior Joint Use Representative, provide assistance in coordinating activity between Company and external companies desiring access to utility facilities, including administration, billing, and collection of joint use and pole attachment contracts in assigned area of responsibility and implementation of standardized processes and practices increasing attachment revenue.

Requirements

Associate's degree in accounting or business-related field.
One year experience in field operations, customer accounts, or related experience.
Ability to make decisions and work well with internal and external customers as well as the public.
Self-starters and self-motivators.
Contact with various entities within the Company and external customers.
Very comfortable dealing with outside companies in negotiations and dispute resolution.
Strong computer skills.
Demonstrated leadership and follow through.

This position requires significant travel and dedicated hours outside normal work hours.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing, negotiating, and administering contracts for facility access and attachment requests.
Assist in preparing information required for annual attachment rental invoicing.
Provide assistance in coordinating and maintaining database with contract, inventory, insurance, bond, and billing records.
Obtain knowledge of industry standards and recommendations for potential process improvements with regard to current business practices of state and federal jurisdictions.
Provide guidance to assigned Operating Companies based actions pertaining to pole attachments at the FCC or State Commission.
Provide assistance in establishing and initiating processes on field inventories relating to pole attachments.
Assist in providing training and support to engineering and operations on joint attachment requirements.
