About The Position

The Joint Operations Readiness Senior provides experienced support to joint collective training and readiness events, enabling staff functions and sharpening planning logic while advancing SOF-Conventional Force integration, interoperability, and interdependence. Serves in an advisory capacity to enhance mission execution capability and capacity.

Requirements

10+ years of SOF experience
E-7+/CW2+/O-3+
Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)
Experience with joint training systems and exercise life cycle management
Knowledge of warfighting functions and SOF core activities
Understanding of Joint SOF HQ operations and staff processes
Strong communication skills, written, verbal, and interpersonal
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues
Must be proficient in the use of Power Point, Excel, Word, Access, (Outlook Microsoft Office Suite)
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position.
Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

Nice To Haves

Personnel must be available for CONUS and OCONUS travel to support training and readiness events.

Responsibilities

Support collective training and readiness events that increase readiness and elevate decision quality
Advise, mentor, and assess staff during training exercises and operational planning
Assist with event coordination, synchronization, and execution across the SOF enterprise
Contribute to readiness observation logs and functional performance evaluations
Support development of retraining recommendations and scaling solutions
Participate in pre-event planning sessions and readiness objective development
Assist with exercise inject and scenario trigger creation
