About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Joint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Specialist to support the Joint Interagency Task Force – Counter Cartel (JIATF-CC) in El Paso, TX. JIATF-CC operates under U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) to enhance intelligence, surveillance, and operational coordination in counter-cartel and counter-transnational criminal organization missions. In this role, you will deliver actionable intelligence, ISR tactical support, and facilitate interagency collaboration to directly impact national security. Join our team and play a critical part in securing the southern border and disrupting transnational threats.

Requirements

  • Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI Eligibility (TS SCI).
  • US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Associate degree from a college or university accredited by and accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • At least 3 years' experience and capabilities within a military setting for the successful execution of tasks associated with specific duty positions/focus areas.
  • Experience in managing a multitude of operations related tasks within a Joint Operations Center.
  • Proficient in writing Intelligence reports as required.
  • Knowledgeable in Intelligence Community Directives and intelligence tradecraft.
  • Proficient with Maven Smart System.
  • Knowledgeable in Open-Source Intelligence Tools.

Nice To Haves

  • ISR Tactical Controller Certification desired.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor classified and unclassified intelligence reporting on Government of Mexico and Cartel activities within Mexico
  • Monitor ISR feeds and provide direction to assets as required
  • Maintain records of Requests for Information received from subordinate, higher, and adjacent organizations.
  • Obtain information and creates reports from various sources using a wide range of operational information in order to make appropriate assessments to the appropriate decision maker.
  • Maintain metrics databases that track various missions, operational summaries, and other valuable Command updates.
  • Monitor ongoing operations and application of multiple network systems and data management programs critical to JIATF-CC mission planning and execution.
  • Provide written and oral reports to command and higher headquarters as required to provide situational awareness of ongoing operations.
  • Maintain and secure data on both NIPRnet and SIPRnet and ensure compliance with policies on levels of classification.
  • Production of official messages, requirements, and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs).
  • Support the Common Operational Picture (COP) manager integrating all operational command systems.
