About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Joint Exercise Planner located at Camp Smith in Hawaii to support the U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM) J637 Joint Exercise Branch. This role involves leading the planning, coordination, and execution of joint and multinational exercises by managing multiple C4/Cyber exercise requirements, supporting various Joint Exercise Lifecycle (JELC) Events, developing exercise training objectives and support products, and providing administrative and technical support to lead exercise planners across the Pacific region as a J637 Joint Exercise Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Requirements

  • Develop exercise plans and after-action reports
  • Manage exercise knowledge repositories
  • Provide detailed and high-level briefings to staff directorates and General/Flag officers
  • Occasional travel to planning events and exercise execution as required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate exercise planning events and manage exercise documentation, deliverables, schedules, and milestones to ensure timely delivery of exercise products.
  • Develop exercise plans and after-action reports.
  • Support the integration of exercise requirements into broader operational frameworks and goals based on guidance from J6 and J7 leadership.
  • Manage exercise knowledge repositories and facilitate knowledge sharing across senior planners, staff directorates, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to lead exercise planners, ensuring seamless execution of exercises and compliance with DoD standards and best practices.
  • Provide detailed and high-level briefings to staff directorates and General/Flag officers.
  • Perform occasional travel to planning events and exercise execution as required.
