Hawkeye Area Community Action Program, Inc. (HACAP) is a dynamic nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the lives of families and individuals in our communities across nine counties. We believe in the power of collaboration, working alongside for-profit businesses, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and local community members to create stronger, healthier communities. The Johnson County Outreach Coordinator / A&R Counselor II provides customer service and connects families with Energy Assistance programs through the A&R Counselor II responsibilities, while also serving as HACAP's primary presence and point of contact in Johnson County as the Johnson County Outreach Coordinator. This position is allocated approximately 75% to Energy Assistance and 25% to Johnson County Outreach.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree and experience working in Human Services, Counseling, or Financial Planning OR Equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Valid Driver's License.
- Valid Car Insurance.
- Reliable Transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provides customer service and connects families with Energy Assistance programs.
- Serves as HACAP's primary presence and point of contact in Johnson County.
