Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in placement activities
Experience with developmental disabilities, job coaching, case management preferred
Valid driver's license and auto insurance
DODD Certified/Registered or ability to become Certified/Registered
Self-motivated but also a team player
Able to work efficiently with an awareness of what is going on around you
Excellent communication skills
Reliable
Positive attitude and takes pride in work

Responsibilities

Utilize community employer contacts to achieve independent participant employment and retention.
Provide leadership and mentoring to participants.
Provide support necessary to encourage long term job retention.
Educate employer contacts on participant programs.
Develop employment opportunities.
Create position matches, referrals, intakes and participant and employer satisfaction.
Develop community-based work adjustment and assessment sites as requested.
