The position of Job Developer reports to the Department of Rehabilitation Services Supervisor, working as part of the multi-disciplinary team to conduct all Pre-Employment, Employment Preparation, Job Development, Placement and follow up support as needed. This role involves providing consumer analysis of strengths and barriers to employment, recommending employment planning and services, procuring community situational assessment sites, and supporting consumers during job interviews. The Job Developer will also conduct job analysis, provide professional mentorship, and assist in the implementation of goals related to integrated community activities and job placements. Additionally, the role includes identifying community resources, contracting for individualized job placements, monitoring a data collection system, collaborating with intra-agency teams and external representatives, and maintaining regular contact with employers to review trainee performance. On-site job coaching and accurate documentation of all client interactions are also key responsibilities. The Job Developer will report any health and safety incidents immediately to the supervisor and carry out other duties as requested by management.
