About The Position

As a Job Coach at Hope Network, you'll provide vocational support to individuals in both community-based and facility-based work settings. You will help participants develop workplace skills, build independence, and achieve employment success by collaborating with employers, families, guardians, and support teams. Every day, you'll play a key role in creating opportunities and supporting comebacks.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Michigan driver's license with less than 6 points
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to pass applicable background checks
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification

Nice To Haves

3 to 5 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities, preferably in a vocational setting

Responsibilities

Provide vocational coaching and support in community and facility-based employment settings
Monitor work performance and make adjustments to tasks or environments to support success
Encourage independence and foster natural supports within the workplace
Build and maintain positive relationships with employers and host companies
Support transportation and participation in community activities
Assist with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed
Collaborate with participants, families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams
