Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required.
A valid driver's license is required.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
A commitment to teamwork and the agency's mission.
Ability to lift, bend, and carry items of varying weights to support individuals in diverse work environments.

Nice To Haves

Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities in a vocational setting preferred.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
Flexible work hours based on individual and employer needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver personalized vocational support, including on-site job coaching, emotional and social counseling, and skill-building.
Motivate and encourage individuals to reach their employment goals while promoting positive behaviors and peer interaction.
Provide transportation to job sites using agency vehicles or personal transportation when needed.
Support individuals at their job sites by modeling tasks, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate records such as timesheets and assessments.
Teach essential vocational and soft skills such as resume writing, interviewing, travel training, and workplace safety.
Collaborate with employers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Partner with Job Developers and Senior Job Coaches during job placement and training phases.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including case notes, action plans, and mileage logs.
Represent the agency professionally in all community and business interactions.
Stay current with all required trainings and certifications.
Work closely with the SEMP Team to ensure coordinated service delivery.
