About The Position

The Job Coach will assist in developing and implementing supported employment and support service activities. This role involves analyzing job and environmental needs, engaging in task analysis, and developing behavior management plans. The Job Coach will carry out specific skill training plans for participants, assist with mobility and communication needs in the community, identify and address participant needs, and maintain detailed records of services provided and reports. Participation in staff meetings and communication with supervisors are also key aspects of the role. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must maintain a CA driver's license and be insured to drive in California
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be punctual and dependable
  • Must approach daily work with a positive customer service commitment
  • Must show sensitivity to diversity
  • Must adapt to varying customer behavior
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to respond to specific instructions and to meet deadlines relative to paperwork
  • Must have strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years of experience in the Human Services field is preferred

Responsibilities
