About The Position
CRI is hiring for a part-time job coach in Rice Lake, WI for evenings and weekends. The position will be about 10-15 hours per week - hours are between 3pm-9pm, including weekend hours, but will vary based on your availability and our clients schedule. CRI Inc. is a local organization providing employment skills. We work with individuals who may need support due to the presence of a barrier, typically because of the presence of a disability. Our mission is: To empower and support individuals to achieve their highest level of independence in the community.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, equivalent or teacher recommendation.
- Access to reliable transportation and clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a Department of Justice background check.
Responsibilities
- Highlight the client’s abilities rather than focusing on their possible disabilities
- Teach clients how to use their skills to be successful working for a business in their community
- Work to help the client be successful on their own, ideally after spending enough time with the client they should be able to do their job without you there anymore.
- Maintain necessary documentation after meeting with clients
- The critical role of your position is not to complete the tasks for the individual, but to demonstrate, support and document as our “clients” complete their work tasks.
