Job Captain, Architecture Production
About The Position
Ware Malcomb is seeking a Job Captain for their Production Studio. This role is for a highly motivated problem-solver who will take charge of projects with support from the Production Manager, ensuring efficient project progression. The Job Captain will be responsible for coordinating internal resources, maintaining project drawings (AutoCAD and Revit), and conducting code research. The position involves leading production efforts for complex projects with minimal supervision, providing Revit or AutoCAD support, reviewing code analysis and project details with the Production Manager, and assisting in generating and reviewing project schedules and budgets. This role also includes leading communication with project management teams and providing clear direction to support staff.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters in Architecture
- 3+ years' of experience working on ground-up and/or exterior renovation projects, using CAD and/or Revit
- Wonderful attitude and is a team player with incredible communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the production efforts for complex projects with minimal supervision and with the help of Production and Senior Production Coordinators
- Provide Revit or AutoCAD support for the preparation of project documents
- Review and confirm with the Production Manager code analysis and specific details for each project
- Assist the Production Manager in generating and reviewing project schedules and budgets for their region
- Lead the communication with project management teams and provide clear direction to the support staff
