About The Position
Ben Bridge Jeweler, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway with over 110 years in business and more than thirty stores across the United States, is seeking a full-time sales associate for its Anchorage store. The company is committed to providing customers with a quality experience and jewelry that will be treasured for generations, aiming to be their jeweler for life. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine jewelry and/or watch sales, or other luxury sales experience. Ben Bridge Sales Associates are energetic, self-starters who are passionate about jewelry and building lasting relationships. They excel independently and in small teams, showcasing merchandise with enthusiasm and creativity, and are dedicated to creating unforgettable moments for customers.
Requirements

- Commitment to outstanding customer service
- Strong attention to detail and high integrity
- Be flexible with work schedule, including holidays
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent in English
- Minimum of 2 years of selling experience in a retail environment; or a combination of 3+ years of customer service experience and education
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Professional attire is required

- Bilingual is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Develop authentic relationships with customers by assessing their needs, making personalized product recommendations and creating a memorable experience
- Cultivate an in-depth knowledge of products and provide product knowledge, features and benefits to all customer when presenting merchandise
- Connect with existing and potential customers and maintain customer information utilizing company supported technology
- Inspect and clean customers' jewelry and consult on repairs for jewelry and timepieces
