About The Position

Boscov’s is seeking Seasonal Part-Time Jewelry Sales Associates to join its retail team. In this customer-facing role, associates build customer confidence, provide accurate product information, promote merchandise, and establish professional, personalized rapport to close sales and deliver a positive customer experience. Associates also support the department’s sales floor, transactions, and merchandise operations.

Requirements

Ability and desire to actively engage customers, sell merchandise, and provide excellent customer service.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with basic math skills.
Ability to learn selling skills and operate a POS register and telxon.
Availability to work varied days and hours as required, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience.
Prior retail and/or selling experience in Fine Jewelry/Gemstones.

Responsibilities

Sell merchandise and provide customer service according to company standards, including greeting and acknowledging customers and maintaining solid product knowledge.
Build customer relationships and promote products to achieve successful sales.
Maintain the appearance of the selling floor.
Perform marketing activities, such as opening new Boscov’s charge accounts, to achieve company goals.
Complete transactions and paperwork accurately and efficiently while following company policies and procedures.
Maintain awareness of advertised merchandise.
Assist with receiving, folding, straightening, and replenishing merchandise.
