About The Position

The Jewelry Photographer is a key member of the Creative team, responsible for producing elevated product photography that showcases the craftsmanship, beauty, and distinctive design of the Julie Vos collection. This role partners closely with Creative, Marketing, and Production teams to create compelling imagery for e-commerce, digital marketing, and brand campaigns while maintaining the highest standards of visual consistency and product accuracy.

Requirements

Experienced in professional product photography, preferably within jewelry, luxury accessories, fashion, or beauty.
A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional jewelry photography, including expertise in lighting reflective products.
Advanced proficiency in studio lighting, macro photography, and tethered capture workflows.
Experience with Capture One and Adobe Photoshop.
Strong understanding of color management and image preparation for post-production.
Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to consistency and craftsmanship.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment.

Experience with focus stacking is a plus.

Responsibilities

Photograph jewelry for e-commerce, still-life compositions, marketing campaigns, and brand content.
Capture the texture, dimension, and finish of metals and gemstones while ensuring accurate product representation.
Produce imagery that reflects the Julie Vos aesthetic and supports a premium customer experience across all channels.
Set up and manage studio lighting, camera equipment, and tethered capture workflows.
Expertly light reflective surfaces, controlling highlights and reflections while preserving depth and detail.
Maintain consistent lighting, framing, color accuracy, and scale across all product photography.
Manage studio equipment and maintain an organized, efficient photography workspace.
Partner with Creative, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, and visual initiatives.
Collaborate on shot lists, styling direction, creative references, and production timelines.
Contribute ideas that enhance visual storytelling while maintaining brand consistency.
Prepare organized image selects and detailed notes for retouching.
Partner closely with the Retoucher to ensure final imagery meets Julie Vos quality and brand standards.
Maintain efficient workflows that support timely delivery of photography assets across departments.
