This specific role is a full-time, non-management, hourly position requiring approximately 35 hours per week. The Jewelry Merchandising Lead will be the face of the company, traveling throughout an assigned territory to build relationships with retail store teams and merchandise fashion jewelry and accessories. This role also serves as a subject matter expert for the Jewelry Merchandiser position.

Requirements

Be 18 years of age or older.
Have a valid driver's license (exceptions may be considered for MMs in metropolitan markets with Supervisor approval).
Provide proof of insurance, vehicle registration, and valid license, which will be required and verified regularly.
Be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
Be able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, and kneel.
General availability to train during daytime business hours.
Energetic, reliable, and great with people.
Ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and pay attention to details.
Ability to follow directions and make decisions when needed.
Comfortable with technology, with access to the internet and an email account.
Ability to work effectively without a lot of supervision.
Enjoy and be good at training others.

Nice To Haves

Frequent travel to & throughout Detroit and Warren, MI, as well as surrounding areas within the district as needed.
Travel throughout an assigned territory.
Mileage will be reimbursed per company policy.

Responsibilities

Report to a District Manager and manage a market of approximately 5-20 retail locations within a 25-mile radius.
Travel, including overnights, as required.
Train and mentor peers, especially new merchandisers, and cover POS (Point of Sale) throughout the district.
Ensure consistent visual merchandising standards are followed to drive profitable sales and create compelling visual stories.
Stay aware of market trends and communicate relevant information to the District Manager.
Build relationships with store employees and management to maximize sales and optimize fixture placement in POS throughout the assigned territory.
