This is a full-time, non-management, hourly position requiring approximately 32-40 hours per week. The role involves frequent travel to surrounding areas including the Memphis Metro Area, Southaven MS, Tupelo MS, and Oxford MS. As a Jewelry Merchandising Lead, you will be the company's representative, working flexible hours, traveling throughout an assigned territory, building relationships with retail store teams, and merchandising the latest fashion jewelry and accessories. This role also serves as a subject matter expert for the Jewelry Merchandiser position.

Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Have a valid driver's license (exceptions may be considered for MMs in metropolitan markets with supervisor approval).
  • Provide proof of insurance, vehicle registration, and valid license, which will be verified regularly.
  • Be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Be able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, and kneel.
  • General availability to train during daytime business hours.
  • Energetic, reliable, and good with people.
  • Ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and pay attention to details.
  • Ability to follow directions and make decisions when necessary.
  • Comfortable with technology, with access to the internet and an email account.
  • Ability to work effectively without close supervision.
  • Enjoy and be good at training others.

Responsibilities

  • Report to a District Manager and manage a territory of approximately 5-20 retail locations within a 25-mile radius.
  • Travel, including overnights, is required.
  • Train and mentor peers, especially new merchandisers, and provide POS coverage within the district.
  • Ensure consistent visual merchandising standards are maintained throughout the district to drive profitable sales and create a compelling visual narrative.
  • Stay informed about market trends and communicate relevant information to the District Manager.
  • Build relationships with store employees and management to maximize sales and optimize fixture placement within the assigned territory.
