About The Position
The Seasonal Jewelry Merchandiser maintains beeline jewelry and accessories displays in the Silver Spring/Washington, DC area. The role involves keeping merchandise well-stocked and visually appealing, maintaining clean and organized fixture areas, building relationships with store employees, and completing routine administrative tasks. The position is temporary for approximately three months and averages around 20–25 hours per week; hours may vary based on business needs. Daytime availability is required for training.
Requirements
- Be energetic, reliable, and good with people.
- Learn quickly, stay organized, and pay attention to detail.
- Follow directions while being comfortable making decisions when necessary.
- Be comfortable with technology and have access to the internet and an email account.
- Work effectively without extensive supervision.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license; an exception may be considered for metropolitan-market merchandisers with supervisor approval.
- Provide proof of insurance, vehicle registration, and a valid driver's license, which will be verified regularly.
- Be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
- Be able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, and kneel.
- Have general availability to train during daytime business hours.
