Seasonal PT Jewelry Merchandiser - Poughkeepsie
About The Position
The Jewelry Merchandiser maintains beeline jewelry and accessories displays in partner stores, keeping products stocked and fixtures visually appealing, clean, and organized. The role also involves building relationships with store employees and completing routine administrative tasks. This is a temporary, seasonal, part-time position for approximately three months, with around 10–15 hours per week. Hours may vary based on business needs. Starting pay is $18.75 per hour. Merchandisers travel by car to partner stores throughout their territory. Employees may be eligible for mileage reimbursement and receive a 50% discount on jewelry and accessories.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license; proof of insurance, vehicle registration, and license validity will be checked regularly. In metropolitan markets, an exception may be considered with supervisor approval.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and stand, walk, reach, stoop, and kneel.
- Must have general availability to train during daytime business hours.
- Must be comfortable with technology, have internet access and an email account, and work effectively with limited supervision.
- Must be energetic, reliable, good with people, quick to learn, organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow directions while making decisions when needed.
