About The Position

Mr. Rooter Plumbing are seeking a motivated and results-driven Jetter Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting plumbing services to residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate has strong excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of plumbing systems. The Jetter Technician is responsible for driving revenue growth through residential and commercial plumbing services. The Jetter Technician is responsible for operating high-pressure water jetting equipment to remove blockages, grease, roots, debris, and buildup from sewer and drainage systems. The technician performs inspections, equipment maintenance, documentation, and ensures all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license; CDL may be required for larger jetting trucks.
  • Ability to operate or learn sewer cameras and locating equipment.
  • Must have 2-3 years of experience
  • Mobile device skills for reporting and communication.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and manual handling of hoses and equipment.
  • Ability to work around wastewater and confined spaces.
  • Availability for overtime, weekends, or emergency call-outs when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in plumbing, sewer maintenance, drain cleaning, construction, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate hydro jetting equipment to clean sewer lines, drains, storm drains, and pipelines.
  • Inspect pipelines and drainage systems to identify blockages and defects.
  • Use sewer cameras and locating equipment to diagnose issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning services.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of jetting equipment and vehicles.
  • Document work performed, service reports, and job-site findings.
  • Follow safety procedures when working around confined spaces, wastewater systems, and high-pressure equipment.
  • Communicate with customers, supervisors, and dispatch personnel regarding job status.
  • Assist with emergency drain and sewer service calls as needed.
