About The Position

The JDE Business Analyst plays a key role in implementing and continually enhancing IDEX’s JD Edwards ERP system. The role works closely with manufacturing, accounting, and sales teams to improve user efficiency and production through expertise in the JD Edwards platform and tools. It provides functional support for manufacturing operations, translates local business processes into comprehensive JDE application flows, trains and supports end users, maintains system integrity, troubleshoots issues, and serves as a liaison between IT and JD Edwards users.

The position requires after-hours technical support as needed and travel between sites as required. Work takes place in general manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments and includes general office functions and close-detail work using a computer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field, or 5–7 years of JD Edwards experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong business knowledge of the J.D. Edwards EnterpriseOne package, with a specific focus on manufacturing operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and employees at all levels of Viking Pump and IDEX Corporation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with BIPublisher, scanning tools and integration, Orchestrator, Sales & Procurement, logistics, and multi-branch operations.
• Experience with support ticketing systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (O365) products.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing JDE functional support to assist the business and manufacturing operations.
• Translate local business processes into a comprehensive JDE application flow and ensure all critical process steps are accounted for.
• Collaborate with various departments to maximize use of the JD Edwards application.
• Provide end-user training on JDE features and functions.
• Create and support end-user training documentation.
• Ensure system integrity and troubleshoot issues.
• Serve as a liaison between IT and JD Edwards users.
• Provide after-hours technical support as needed.
• Travel between sites as required.
