About The Position

This position involves rotating through multiple stations on the production line, performing various tasks to ensure product quality and efficient packaging. The role requires operating and maintaining production equipment, adhering to production schedules and safety protocols, and collaborating with team members to meet departmental goals. The position is on the 3rd shift and involves rotating duties throughout the department.

Requirements

Ability to fill/pack bags up to 50 lbs.
Ability to move bags from line to conveyor and/or pallet.
Ability to dump product into blender according to specification.
Ability to provide samples of products as required for Quality Control.
Ability to prepare and complete paperwork as required for records.
Ability to report equipment, quality and any other issues as appropriate.
Ability to work with fellow team members assisting with job tasks as required.
Ability to clean and sanitize equipment, work area and other areas of plant as assigned.
Ability to follow production schedules and procedures.
Ability to identify and report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ability to work safely and follow all company safety protocols.
Ability to collaborate with the production team to meet goals.
Ability to complete production documentation as required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without assistance.
Must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen.

Masters’ department systems and processes while assisting in lead role as needed.

Responsibilities

Inspect products for quality and ensure they meet specifications.
Count the correct number of products to be packaged.
Bag and package finished products for distribution.
Load and unload product racks.
Operate and maintain production equipment such as laminating, slitting, and die-cutting machines.
Fill and pack bags with product, up to 50 lbs.
Move bags from the line to the conveyor and/or pallet.
Dump product into a blender for mixing according to specifications.
Provide product samples for Quality Control.
Assist in a lead role as needed.
Prepare and complete required paperwork.
Report equipment, quality, and other issues.
Work with team members, assisting with job tasks as required.
Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, and other plant areas.
Follow production schedules and procedures.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions or quality issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work safely and follow all company safety protocols.
Collaborate with the production team to meet goals.
Complete production documentation as required.
Perform other activities, special tasks, and projects upon request from manager.
