About The Position

Alpha Omega is currently seeking a detail-oriented Javascript Developer to join one of our long-term Federal projects. This role typically requires working as a team member under the direction of senior personnel utilizing an agile methodology. The developer will peer program alongside mid-level and senior developers in a JavaScript/Typescript, node, NestJS, and React tech stack, utilize Azure DevOps and Git repositories, and develop end-to-end and unit tests for front-end functionality.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related work experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Experience with UI/UX design implementation.
• Knowledge of working in a demanding agile environment, responding to client requests, and working with inside and outside stakeholders.
• Familiarity with API/Data-driven web applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences through remote communication tools.
• Initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities
