About The Position

We are looking for a Techno-Functional Consultant with expertise in Java and VBA to support and enhance applications within the Defined Benefits (Pension) domain. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, pension administrators, and SMEs to understand Defined Benefits processes and requirements. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java, JEE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and working on VBA-based Excel tools. Additionally, the role includes converting and modernizing VBA scripts into Java/JavaScript-based applications, developing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures, building and consuming REST-based services, and working in a DevOps environment with CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Java, JEE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
• Strong hands-on experience with VBA and Excel-based solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript (JS).
• 3+ years of experience in SQL and Stored Procedures.
• Experience working in CI/CD and DevOps environments.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, pension administrators, and SMEs to understand Defined Benefits processes and requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, JEE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
• Work on VBA-based Excel tools, including enhancement, maintenance, and transformation.
• Convert and modernize VBA scripts into Java/JavaScript-based applications.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Build and consume REST-based services where required.
• Work in a DevOps environment with CI/CD pipelines.
