About The Position

The Team: We have an opportunity for a Java Software Engineer to join our Documents team (focused on document and image processing).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working with Java v21 and Spring Boot
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Fluency in English and Spanish
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices
- Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Previous experience with documents and image processing, biometrics compression, ML and AI.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and concepts as scalability, resiliency, and security.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop services as part of distributed applications
- Collaborate closely with the immediate team/tribe and product owner
- Work with requirements for maintainability, testability, performance, security, and quality services
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve the platform
