About The Position

Write clean, secure Java without leaning on frameworks. You'll build server-side web applications with a focus on PKI and cryptography for a federal national-security mission.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Core Java 17+ (not Spring Boot), Jakarta Servlets
• JDBC/DAO without frameworks, Tomcat 11+
• JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSP, HTML5/CSS
• REST, MariaDB/MySQL, Linux, LDAP
• PKI/X.509, SSH, OpenSSL and Java cryptography
• Quartz, Git and Eclipse

Nice To Haves

• Python web applications
• Confluence plugin development
• Windows AD Certificate Services

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications in Core Java 17+ with Jakarta Servlets and JSP
• Write JDBC/DAO data access against MariaDB/MySQL without ORM frameworks
• Run on Tomcat 11+ and Linux, with LDAP integration
• Implement PKI/X.509, SSH, OpenSSL and Java cryptography (AES, RSA, ECC)
• Build front ends with JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS
