Java & ReactJS Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking seasoned technical leaders with expertise in Java 21, SpringBoot, NextJS, Docker, Azure Kubernetes, Github Actions, and PostgreSQL databases. The ideal candidate will be familiar with utilizing AI agents and building MCPs for software development and operations. This role requires the ability to produce quality code as an independent contributor, while also possessing the soft skills to guide and lead technical teams, own administrative tasks, and contribute independently to code. A minimum of two project experiences in a lead role is required, along with experience in the retail/stores/customer-facing domain (retail/ecommerce/banking/airline/hospitality – enterprise level). Local candidates to Pleasanton, CA are preferred for potential office visits.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Minimum of 2 project experiences in a lead role.
- Retail/stores/customer facing domain experience (retail/ecommerce/banking/airline/hospitality – enterprise level).
- Proficiency in Java.
- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills.
- Strong exception handling skills.
- Experience with the Spring Boot framework.
- Experience with web technologies.
- Proficiency in using Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with Apache Kafka.
- Experience with developing and maintaining REST APIs.
- Proficiency in Java Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in public cloud (Azure / OCI).
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS).
- Experience with GitHub.
- Experience with GitHub Actions.
- Experience with alerting mechanisms using New Relic & Google Cloud Logging.
- Expert in Software Delivery Lifecycle using Agile methodologies, industry best practices, and security compliance – such as PCI/PII/SOX.
