About The Position

The Java Program Manager will lead large-scale telecom OSS transformation and application development programs, managing end-to-end delivery of OSS applications. The role calls for a combination of Telecom OSS/BSS domain expertise, Java technology leadership, program management, stakeholder management, and delivery governance experience. Relevant telecom OSS architecture, OSS/BSS integration, and modernization experience is reflected in enterprise references.

The role is assigned as Technology Project Lead 2. The project lead defines objectives and scope in alignment with business goals, oversees delivery with stakeholders, maintains client relationships, manages risks, project estimates, budgets, and resource allocation, and supports technical and commercial proposals. The role also covers requirements and scope changes, contractual updates, team performance appraisals, and professional development.

The Infosys Engineering unit focuses on product-centric value delivery through engineering solutions and a data-first approach to engineering and value-stream management. Its work uses AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to improve delivery processes and accelerate time to market.

Requirements

• Experience leading large-scale Telecom OSS transformation and application development programs.
• Telecom OSS/BSS domain expertise, including relevant OSS architecture, integration, and modernization experience.
• Java technology leadership and Java development experience.
• Program management, stakeholder management, and delivery governance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives and scope in alignment with business goals, working with stakeholders to support efficient delivery.
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing regular updates to support alignment and transparency.
• Review project deliverables and incorporate process improvements, methodologies, and tools.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop project estimates, monitor budget performance, and optimize resource allocation.
• Support preparation of technical and commercial proposals aligned with client needs and organizational capabilities.
• Plan resource allocation, conduct performance appraisals, and facilitate professional development.
• Manage scope changes and develop client requirements, ensuring proper estimation, approval, and contractual updates.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of telecom OSS applications and large-scale OSS transformation and application development programs.
• Manage project economics and delivery, stakeholder relationships, and delivery governance.
