About The Position
We are seeking a Sr Java Developer with key skills in Java, Springboot, and Microservices for a role in Plano, Texas. The position requires strong hands-on experience with Java and object-oriented design, experience designing and building cloud-native applications, and practical experience with AWS services and architecture. The role also involves experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms, designing and consuming RESTful APIs, and experience with microservices or distributed service-oriented systems. Familiarity with Docker and container-based development, strong understanding of software engineering best practices (testing, code reviews, CI/CD), and experience in Agile or iterative delivery environments are essential. The candidate should possess strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to define detailed designs and translate requirements into technical solutions. Familiarity with security best practices, IAM, encryption, and secrets management, as well as experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools, are also required. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.
